Delivery Drivers Wanted, Ottawa (Kanata and Hawthowne Station)
We are a contracted delivery partner and we are hiring drivers to run daily parcel routes in Ottawa. Immediate start. Full time and part time positions available.

This is an on the road position. You start at your assigned location in the morning, run your route, and finish the same day. City driving only. No long haul and no border crossings.

WHAT WE REQUIRE
-Your own cargo van, minivan or SUV. Sedans are not accepted.
-Valid Ontario Class G driver's licence
-Clean driver's abstract
-Clean criminal background check dated within the last 6 months
-Current vehicle insurance and vehicle registration for the vehicle you will drive
-Vehicle equipped with winter tires before peak season
-Able to lift up to 70 lbs throughout the day
-Comfortable using a scanner and a smartphone delivery app
-Legally eligible to work in Canada

WHAT YOU WILL DO
-Load and run your assigned route each day
-Scan every parcel at pickup, delivery and return
-Take photo proof of delivery on every completed delivery
-Deliver business addresses first, before 5:00 PM
-Complete daily vehicle inspections
-Communicate with dispatch if any issue comes up on route
