This 110 V Electric Log splitter has been a Godsend for me. It splits virtually anything you can squeeze into it's 18 inch jaws. Not a speed demon but if you're running it steady you can split 2 1/2 cords in an evening.
The 1 3/4 HP motor is nice and quiet. Works very well. I have a wooden base for it to sit on so you don't have to lean down at ground level each time you put in a block. It is perfect for splitting right off the deck of a trailer or pick up.
I am moving to a place that doesn't have a wood stove (sob) so I have to let it go.
I modified the control because the Yardworks foot control didn't last long. The new hand control works slick.
