1999 Mustang SVT Cobra Convertible
1st year of the New Edge Mustang. 1st time a Mustang came with independent rear suspension. Only 67,00 original kilometres. Runs and drives excellent. Hand built Engine is stock and not messed with. New spark plugs.
Dual Overhead Cams, 32 valve, fuel injected engine that only came in the Cobra model that year. In 1999, 320hp was a lot! It pulls hard whenever prompted. The sound is incredible. Five speed manual transmission with aftermarket Steeda short shifter. Aftermarket sub frame connectors as well as strut tower brace. Struts and shocks replaced with Bilstein a few years back. Installed drilled and slotted rotors all around. Stops are really strong. Handles great as well.
Paint is virtually as new with the odd chip touch up. Power top goes up and down smoothly as it should. Tires will need to be replaced soon. I have all service records since I’ve owned it from 47000 KMs. Old guy owned and babied! Brand new battery. Owners books and shop manual. 1 of approximately 260 made with this colour combination.
