Car House Auto Service is a busy, established automotive service shop in Markham. We are looking for a motivated Automotive Apprentice to join our team 4 days per week.
We are looking for someone with gusto — someone who is energetic, reliable, willing to learn, and takes pride in doing a good job. This is a hands-on position for someone who wants to build their automotive skills and grow with an experienced shop team.
What You’ll Be Doing
Performing oil changes and basic maintenance services
Tire installation, mounting and balancing
Tire rotations and seasonal tire changes
Assisting technicians with automotive repairs
Checking vehicles and helping with basic inspections
Moving and organizing vehicles and tires
Keeping the shop, tools and work areas clean and organized
General shop duties and maintenance
Helping wherever needed to keep the shop running efficiently

Comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment
Able to work as part of a team
Mechanically inclined and interested in the automotive trade
Previous automotive, tire or shop experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person

We want someone who wants to work with work some shop work experience.
You don't need to know everything, we can teach you. What matters most is that you show up on time, work hard, pay attention, take initiative and have the attitude to learn.
