Transport Depot (TDI) Inc. is a well-established transportation company operating a fleet of commercial trucks and trailers throughout Ontario and the United States. We are committed to maintaining a safe, reliable, and well-maintained fleet and are looking for an experienced 310J Trailer Technician to join our maintenance team.

This is a full-time daytime position with a consistent Monday to Friday schedule. The successful candidate will take pride in quality workmanship, safety, and keeping equipment road ready.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on commercial flatbed and bulk trailers.
• Diagnose and repair trailer mechanical, electrical, air, and brake systems.
• Repair and maintain suspension, landing gear, axles, wheels, and related components.
• Perform brake inspections, repairs, adjustments, and component replacements.
• Troubleshoot and repair trailer lighting and electrical systems.
• Perform structural and body repairs, including doors, flooring, panels, and related components.
• Complete PM inspections and maintenance according to company procedures.
• Identify safety defects and ensure equipment is properly repaired before returning to service.
• Accurately document inspections, repairs, parts, and maintenance activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work independently while also supporting the maintenance team as required.
• Respond to occasional equipment breakdowns or urgent repairs when required.
• Follow all company, Ministry of Transportation, and applicable safety requirements.

Qualifications
• 310J Trailer Technician licence/certification required.
• Previous experience repairing and maintaining commercial trailers.
• Strong knowledge of trailer braking, air, suspension, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs efficiently and accurately.
• Strong understanding of commercial vehicle safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Own tools suitable for the position.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.

• $35.00 – $43.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
