Hometown Design & Build is looking to add a Lead Framer and an experienced Framer to our residential construction crew starting tomorrow.

We specialize in custom residential framing, deck additions, carports, and structural renovations. If you are reliable, efficient, and take pride in quality workmanship, we want to hear from you.


Positions & Pay

Lead Framer: Starting at $40 / hour (Depending on experience)

Framer: Starting at $35 / hour (Depending on experience)

Start Date: Tomorrow


Requirements


Transportation: Must have your own reliable transportation to drive to job sites across the Ottawa area.

Tools: Essential hand tools, tool pouch, and standard personal protective equipment (PPE).

Work Ethic: Punctual, hard-working, and focused on safety and job site cleanliness.


Lead Framer Responsibilities

Manage and run a framing team efficiently on-site to meet project timelines.

Read and interpret structural blueprints, material takeoffs, and layout specifications accurately.

Oversee quality control, site safety, and effective task delegation.


Framer Responsibilities

Execute wall framing, joist/decking installation, roof structures, and custom layout work.

Assist with material handling, cutting, assembly, and site preparation.

Work safely and collaboratively under the direction of the lead framer.
