7 purebred Icelandic Ram Lambs selling at Picture Butte Auction Odd N Unusual sale on September 26th.

I'm just too busy to finish, butcher and market these ram lambs. They have been grazing on prairie montane pastures alongside their mom until last weekend, they have been weaned and on are on hay for this week before the sale. Great lambs to finish on pasture or grain and have a delicious whole lamb by December. Icelandic lamb is more delicate than that of other breeds and isn't as strong tasting or pungent smelling. It's a lean tender meat that is very versatile when cooking.

If you have a crafter, knitter or spinner in the family they would likely love the wool on these ram lambs for various woolen projects. I typically sell fall lambs wool for $30/lb and will get about 4 lbs skirted wool from ram lambs like these. Alternatively, when processed you could have a beautiful natural wool hide/rug.

Don't forget their horns! - Endless project possibilities there.
