Northland Auto Recyclers is hiring an auto parts salesperson at our Scarborough location (406 Comstock Rd, M1L 2H3), with the opportunity to move to full-time based on performance.

We're a used auto parts and scrap car business. This role is about parts and customers — answering inquiries, checking the yard for what we have, quoting prices, and closing sales. If you know auto parts and are good with people, this is for you.

What you'll do day to day:

Answer customer messages and calls about parts — availability, pricing, and fitment
Check the yard to confirm we have the part and it's in good condition (most vehicles are still whole, so parts are on the cars)
Quote prices and close sales
Follow up with customers and keep inquiries from going cold
Help keep track of what we have and what's sold

What we're looking for:

Auto parts knowledge — you can identify parts and understand what customers are asking for. Essential
Strong communication and customer service — friendly, quick to respond, good at closing a sale
Willing to walk the yard to check and verify parts (not a desk-only job — you'll move between the phone and the yard, outdoors in all weather)
Comfortable on a computer and phone
Organized and reliable
Parts counter, wrecking yard, or auto parts sales experience is a big plus

Part-time to start (approx. 20–25 hrs./week), with a path to full-time based on performance
