We are seeking an entry-level Plumbing Labourer to assist our licensed plumbers with daily field operations. In this role, you will handle heavy lifting, drill holes, fetch material, tool management, excavation, and basic assembly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the plumbing trade and potentially secure an apprenticeship.
Key Responsibilities
Site Preparation: Load and unload tools, equipment, and plumbing materials from service vehicle.
Assisting Plumbers: Help cut, thread, and assemble pipes, fittings, and fixtures under direct supervision.
Manual Labour: Dig trenches for plumbing lines, break concrete, and clear debris from work areas.
Tool Maintenance: Keep track of tools, clean equipment, and ensure the job site remains organized and safe.
Customer Service: Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor when interacting with clients on-site.
Qualifications & Requirements
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, bend, kneel, and work in tight spaces or varying weather conditions.
License: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
Skills: Familiarity with basic hand and power tools is highly preferred.
Attributes: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a willingness to learn and take direction.
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
