Math & Economics Tutoring | Grades 1–12 & University | First Lesson Free

Hi! I’m Amer, and I offer math tutoring for Grades 1–12, economics for high school and university students, business courses, and university math and statistics for social science and business programs.

I can help students in economics, sociology, psychology, political science, business administration, marketing, and related programs (with the math)

I’ve studied mechanical engineering, have a degree in economics, and am now studying statistics for sociology at the master’s level. I use that background to show students how what they’re learning applies in practice.

I don’t just teach “apply this formula.” I want students to understand why it works, often starting with a concrete example. Once the idea clicks, the formula makes much more sense.

I’ve tutored part-time for over 10 years and taught professionally full-time for five. I’m fully bilingual, so lessons are available in English or French.

Lessons take place online. I write on an iPad with an Apple Pencil and share my screen so students can follow the work step by step. They also solve exercises with my guidance.

The first lesson is free. It gives us a chance to meet, talk about your goals, and identify where you need help. After that, lessons are $35 per hour for school students and $40 per hour for university students.
