URGENT Couriers needed.

Alberta based company AMA Logistics is looking for delivery drivers on full time, part time and on standby basis.

We are planning for the peak and Christmas season Oct 15, 2026 - Jan 15, 2027. AMA Logistics is looking to hire 30 - 40 more drivers for Calgary and 10 - 15 for Edmonton.

AMA Logistics works out of 4 warehouses on different delivery contracts. AMA Logistics will provide:
- Delivery app that fully organizes and optimizes your routes by sequence numbers
- Full time or Part time work or casual work.
- We operate 7 days a week. Off Dec 25 and Jan1 during Peak season.
- Training at warehouse and on road
- Online training
- Competitive sub contractor pay
- Dispatch support
- WCB coverage
- Cargo Insurance

Pay
- Sub Contractor pay ranges from $1.30 - $1.60 per piece
- Heavyweights > 41 lbs or 4 cubic feet extra $8
- 90 to 200 pieces a day per driver depending on ability and vehicle
- DELIVERY AREA
- All of Calgary South East
- All of Okotoks and surrounding areas
- All of Calgary South West
- All of North East Edmonton

Duties include:
- Arrive on time/Start on time.
- Arrange and organize freight according to route and app.
- Scan freight where needed
- Load and organize freight in vehicle
- Secure freight while in custody. Doors locked, second keys or FOBs
- Follow companies delivery and safety protocol
- Complete route
- Communicate with dispatch if help needed in a timely manner
- Execute sub contractors agreement

Equipment needed for job

- Large Sedan but SUV or Van preferred
- Android Phone for one contract
- iPhone for all other contracts
- Data plan with minimum 20 GB
- Phone Charger
- Battery pack
- Safety Vest

ASAP in order to train to be ready for peak delivery Period Oct 15, 2026 - Jan 15, 2027
