Project horse! - potential trade

Meet Goldie! A 5yo grade Appy mare standing around 15hh and solid.

Selling for a client, this horse is up to date on groundwork and has a handful of rides. She is athletic, smart and looking for someone to finish her off!

In my time with her I have seen lots of improvement and know she would make an excellent candidate for a winter project. Likely to excel as an all purpose western mount but could see her following other paths as well with some dedicated training!

Goldie was originally a bit standoffish so she needs a kind, but firm hand to establish boundaries while still trying to develop positive association. She is well handled, good with her feet and good to tie/tack. She does need someone to be thoughtful about catching her, especially in a large area but when handled appropriately it never takes more than a minute or two. Recently she has been very good. Goldie is excellent in a herd setting, easy on young ones and reasonable with new horses.

Owner is a senior citizen and just needs something very been there done that, selling is no fault of her own. That being said we are VERY interested in trades for a senior safe, well miled older horse. Horse would need to be comfortable riding alone and checking cows!

Also willing to sell outright, asking $4000 but open to offers from a quality home!
