TrueCon General Contractors Ltd. is hiring for our framing and exterior crews in Cornwall and SD&G. Full-time, permanent, year-round work. Owner-supervised crews with Red Seal carpenters on staff. We arrange and pay for your Working at Heights and WHMIS training.

FRAMER / FRAMING CARPENTER - $22 to $28 per hour based on experience. Measure, cut and assemble lumber and engineered materials to the drawings. Frame walls, floor systems, roof trusses and stick roofs; set LVL and steel beams. Install windows, doors, stairs and exterior trim as needed. You have framing or carpentry experience, can read blueprints, and are comfortable with saws, nail guns, drills and layout tools. Your own basic hand tools, CSA safety boots and a hard hat.

CONSTRUCTION LABOURER - $18 to $24 per hour. Load, unload and move materials; cut, carry and stack lumber for the crew. Help build and take down scaffolding; run hand and power tools under supervision. Clean and prep the site; dig, backfill and compact where needed. No experience required - willingness to learn and take direction is essential. Labourers who earn it move onto the framing crew. CSA safety boots.

Both roles: heavy lifting, physically demanding, outdoors in every season, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. Reliable transportation to job sites in Cornwall and the surrounding area is required.
