LOOKING TO BUY — reliable small compact car
Hey everyone! I'm a student at Oulton College looking to buy a reliable small compact car — something like a Mazda3, Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic, or similar. Budget is $2,500–$3,000 cash in hand.
A little about me: I'm a former mechanic's apprentice, so I know what I'm looking at — I just need a solid, dependable daily driver to get me to and from school. I'm currently waiting on my student loan to come through, so I'd appreciate some patience on timing — I'm looking to buy hopefully next week once it lands.
What I'm after:
• Automatic transmission (I can only drive automatic)
• Valid NB MVI and registration — ideally good through 2027 or 2028
• Nothing major wrong with it — no frame rot, no engine or transmission issues. Maintenance history is a big plus.
