7 month old bloodhound/ chocolate lab boy named Rooster. His birthday is march 27. It breaks my heart to have to rehome him, however being a single mom with new financial implications and more working hours, I do not feel he is getting the time and attention he needs to have to thrive and show his true potential as a dog.
Rooster is such a loving and loveable boy! He has been growing up in a home with children, cats, and has been socialized with other dogs whom he gets along with great. When it comes to cats though, he does like to chase them and will sometimes play a little rough, but stops when told to.
Roo is kennel trained, excellent on his leash and harness and loves to be outside on hikes! He has enjoyed camping and being on a paddle board this summer. Roo loves to swim, however swimming bothers his ears and he needs his probiotics in them and cleaned regularly, he comes with all those goodies! Roo will also come with his brand new large kennel, his good harness, a large toy box of all his toys and a perimeter system that we have just started training with to keep him on my property.
Roo has only had his first round of vaccines right before I bought him, however my finances have unfortunately kept me from being able to get all of them since then. He has not been neutered yet, as I was told to wait until he is closer to one year old for that procedure.
I can only fathom my joy going to the best home who can provide him with more time with his humans and be sure he is treated well. I am asking a $300 fee to help make up for the cost of the kennel and perimeter system I recently bought and to ensure whomever takes him is financially able to do so. You can contact me directly at 902-448-6878 to inquire or ask any other questions. Thank you for taking the time to read and I truly hope I can find rooster an amazing new forever family who can give him what I can’t.
