A DIARY

Published by Nova Scarcity Enterprises. 1981 1st edition softcover. Book Condition: Very Good. Illustrated by Jean Hancock. 114 pages.

Rare Nova Scotian publication. it is the diary of a Connecticut farmer who wanted to move his family to Nova Scotia.

The book is more significant from a Nova Scotia literary/historical collecting standpoint than its price suggests. The 1982 scholarly review calls it an entertaining work of fiction about the settlement of the Minas Basin and specifically praises Jean Hancock's illustrations.
