SOLAR INVERTERS — HYBRID, OFF-GRID & MICROINVERTERS
6kW to 18kW · LuxPower, Sol-Ark, EG4, Growatt, APsystems, Hoymiles

THE NEIGHBORHOOD SOLAR STORE DIFFERENCE

The inverter is the component most likely to be the wrong one. It's also the one
people buy on price and regret on the third winter.

So we stock a range rather than a favourite — six brands across three completely
different jobs. What we recommend depends on whether you're grid-tied, off-grid
or fighting shade, not on what we happen to have a deal on.

Everything is certified to UL 1741 with IEEE 1547 grid-interconnect compliance,
and much of the range carries ETL/Intertek or CSA listing — the marks that
matter when an inspector is standing in front of it. Final connection is done to
the Canadian Electrical Code by you or your electrician; grid-tied systems
normally need a permit, an inspection and utility approval, and we supply the
documentation to support all three.

THREE DIFFERENT JOBS

Hybrid, 6kW to 18kW — grid-tied with battery backup. For cutting a bill,
shifting load off peak, or keeping the lights on when the grid drops. Including
AC-coupled options for adding storage to an array that's already on the roof.

Off-grid, 6kW and 12kW split phase — no utility connection, no grid to fall back
on.

Microinverters, 880W and 1600W — for roofs with shade or multiple orientations,
where one string inverter drags the whole array down to its worst panel.

Monitoring gateways, AC trunk cabling and rapid shutdown devices in stock
alongside them.

NOT SURE WHICH ONE?
This is the question we get most, and it's worth asking before you buy rather
than after. Tell us your loads, your panel count, whether you're on grid or off,
and whether you want battery now or just headroom to add it later. We'll tell
you what fits. Free, no obligation to order.
