(Images 1-3) Vintage, authentic 1950s M. Caplan Furs* 13”diameter x 7”H Round Cardboard Hat Box. Classic black gloss lacquer finish, gold metallic rim accents, and the original threaded white cloth carrying cord/handle mechanism.
Good vintage condition with great structural integrity. The exterior has a lovely aged patina with minimal scuffs. The paper original paper label shows authentic age-related wear.

*Established in 1919, M. Caplan Furs was a premier boutique luxury staple of downtown Ottawa for decades. Round boxes of this specific size were designed to protect expensive brimmed hats, fascinators, or smaller fur muffs and collars from dust and crushing.

Three antique porcelain cups featuring ornate, hand-painted 3D floral reliefs and raised gold accents in the Art Nouveau or Victorian style (c. late 19th to early 20th century). ‘Made in Germany’ during a prominent era for this style of porcelain.
