Part-Time Residential Cleaner | Victoria, BC & Surrounding Areas


Artisan Cleaning Co. is a growing, locally owned residential cleaning company serving Victoria and the surrounding areas. We take pride in providing thoughtful, detailed and reliable home cleaning services, with a strong focus on quality, professionalism and making our clients feel comfortable welcoming us into their homes.

We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Residential Cleaner who enjoys creating beautiful, clean spaces and takes pride in their work.

You’ll receive training on our cleaning standards, products, procedures and client preferences. We’re looking for someone who is organized, trustworthy, efficient and comfortable working independently once trained.

Position Details

* Position: Part-time employee
* Pay: $24 per hour
* Hours: Approximately 18–21 hours per week
* Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
* Hours of work: Typically between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
* Pay schedule: Biweekly
* Mileage: Reimbursement provided for eligible work-related travel
* Location: Private residences throughout Victoria and surrounding areas

Responsibilities

* Perform detailed residential cleaning, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living spaces.
* Dust, vacuum, mop, sanitize and complete deep-cleaning tasks as required.
* Follow company cleaning standards, checklists and individual client priorities.
* Deliver friendly, professional service and communicate courteously with clients.
* Treat clients’ homes and belongings with care and respect.
* Maintain excellent attention to detail and manage time effectively.
* Respect client confidentiality and privacy at all times.
* Arrive punctually for scheduled appointments.
* Report damage, concerns, low supplies or unexpected issues promptly.
* Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.

What We’re Looking For

* Previous residential cleaning experience is an asset; training is provided for the right candidate.
* Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s licence.
* Strong attention to detail and a positive work ethic.
* Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently once trained.
* Comfort performing physical work, including standing, bending and moving cleaning supplies.
* Professional communication skills and a friendly attitude.
* Dependability, honesty and respect for client privacy.
* Willingness to learn and follow company procedures.
* Must currently live in Victoria, BC, or the surrounding areas, and be able to reliably travel to jobs throughout Victoria
