NOW HIRING: EXPERIENCED SENIOR LEAD CARPENTER
Montclair Construction Limited – Toronto, Ontario
Montclair Construction Limited is looking for a skilled and reliable Carpenter with a minimum of 10 years of experience to join our team. We are seeking a senior leader responsible for independently executing and supervising complex carpentry work on residential and commercial construction projects. This is a hands-on senior level position, not an entry level or general labour position. The successful candidate must be able to perform advanced rough and finish carpentry personally while independently directing 3-4 person crews, coordinating with other trades and subcontractors.
Responsibilities:
• Perform general carpentry and construction work.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
• Install doors, frames, trim, and other building materials.
• Complete framing, finishing, and renovation work.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years of rough carpentry, structural framing & finish carpentry experience.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and techniques.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid driver's licence and own transportation are assets.
