Job Title: Health Care Aide (HCA) — Facility Placements
Location: Spruce Grove, AB & surrounding areas

Wage: $23.00 per hour

Employment Type: Full-time (Permanent)

Key Responsibilities
Provide compassionate one-on-one personal care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.

Assist with mobility support, walking, and safe transfers (weigh, lift, turn, and position residents).

Serve meal trays, assist with feeding, and monitor daily dietary needs.

Take and record routine vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, and pulse).

Answer call signals promptly to determine resident needs and provide reassurance.

Administer basic first aid in emergency situations when required.

Maintain clean, comfortable environments and document daily care notes accurately.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Health Care Aide (HCA) certificate or Nursing Aide diploma/certificate (High school diploma required).

Certifications: Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certificates.

Clearances: Clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search, and Adult Abuse Registry check (or willingness to obtain).

Health: Valid negative Tuberculosis test.

Transportation: Valid driver’s license, reliable own vehicle, and comfortable commuting to local facility assignments.

Personal Suitability: Highly dependable, patient, client-focused, organized, and possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills.
