This is a full-time, unionized weekend position working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The successful candidate will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, respond to equipment breakdowns, and work closely with Maintenance and Production teams to minimize downtime. A strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork is essential. Additional overtime may be required based on operational needs.

Duties
• Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain plant electrical equipment and systems.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues to minimize equipment downtime.
• Install, test, program, and configure electrical and electronic equipment.
• Complete maintenance work orders and required documentation accurately.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Production teams to support daily operations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• Valid Manitoba Journeyman Industrial Electrician (Red Seal) Certification.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a refrigerated manufacturing environment.
• Ability to climb ladders, crouch, bend, kneel, reach overhead, and perform physically demanding work.
• Knowledge of HACCP requirements is considered an asset.
• Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices and quality workmanship.
