Cullum Drywall Systems | YWCA Renovation Project – Banff, Alberta

Cullum Drywall Systems is seeking qualified tradespeople, apprentices, and experienced subcontractors for an upcoming renovation project at the YWCA in Banff.

We are particularly interested in applicants already living and working in Banff, Canmore, and the surrounding Bow Valley area.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE – HOURLY WAGES

Journeyman Interior Systems Mechanics – $37.00/hr

Journeyman Drywall Finishers – $33.00–$35.00/hr

1st-Year Apprentices – $22.61/hr

2nd-Year Apprentices – $26.38/hr

3rd-Year Apprentices – $30.15/hr

PIECEWORK & SUBCONTRACTING OPPORTUNITIES

We are also looking for experienced individuals and established local crews specializing in:

Commercial steel stud framing

Drywall board installation

Drywall taping and finishing

Piecework and subcontract compensation will be discussed based on scope, experience, and demonstrated production capabilities.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

Ability to communicate effectively in English for jobsite instructions and safety

Verifiable relevant work experience and references for experienced positions

Proof of journeyman qualifications where applicable

Confirmation of apprenticeship year for apprentice applicants

Reliable attendance and commitment to jobsite safety

Successful completion of required safety orientation before starting work

Preference will be given to qualified applicants already residing in the Banff/Canmore area who can reliably travel to the project site.
