# Part-Time Math & Science Tutor – Excel Your Education Academy

**Excel Your Education Academy is Hiring!**

We are seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic **Part-Time Math and Science Tutor** to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong academic background, excellent English communication skills, and a passion for helping students achieve their academic goals.

**Please note: This is an in-person position. Remote work is not available.**

### Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be an Ontario high school graduate.
- Must hold a post-secondary degree. A degree in Mathematics, Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills are essential.
- Must be familiar with the Ontario curriculum.
- Must be able to teach Mathematics and Science up to Grade 10, including **MPM2D (Grade 10 Academic Mathematics) and SNC2D (Grade 10 Academic Science)**.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is an asset.
- Must be patient, reliable, organized, and professional.

### Responsibilities
- Tutor students in Mathematics and Science up to Grade 10.
- Assist students with homework, assignments, test preparation, and exam review.
- Explain challenging concepts clearly and effectively.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs.
- Help students strengthen their foundational skills, build confidence, and achieve academic success.

### Position Details
- **Position:** Part-Time Tutor
- **Subjects:** Mathematics and Science
- **Grade Levels:** Up to Grade 10
- **Required Courses:** MPM2D and SNC2D
- **Location:** Excel Your Education Academy, near Goreway Drive and Countryside Drive
- **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM; flexible availability preferred
- **Employment Type:** Part-time contract
- **Compensation:** Based on qualifications and experience
