Connor Ag Ventures is seeking a full-time employee to work on our family operated progressive grain farm near Beechy/Lucky Lake, Saskatchewan, with immediate start date opportunities for the right candidate(s).
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Operating and maintaining modern farm equipment (keeping routine maintenance records, diagnosing breakdowns with the ability to remedy them)
- Maintenance and cleaning of machinery, shop, and farmyard
- Assist in duties revolving around seeding, crop protection, and harvesting crops
- Applicants must hold a valid Class 5 drivers license, Class 1A is an asset.
We are seeking someone with experience in conventional grain farming such as operating a wide variety of modern, integral, and hi-tech farm equipment (sprayer, air seeder, combines, floater) as well as other various implements such as excavators, water cannons, pro-till, rollers, rock pickers, grain and fertilizer handling equipment, etc. Must be mechanically inclined and have the ability to solves problems and work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Applicants also must possess common sense, be technologically inclined, have the ability to multitask, be self-motivated and efficient in carrying out day-to-day tasks, capable of doing physically demanding work, and be comfortable with working long days when necessary throughout busy seasons.
