Memories of Barrington Passage, Nova Scotia and one of its most beloved citizens of the early 1900's, Dr. Ben Hichens.

Published by Lancelot Press, Hantsport. 1987 1st edition softcover. Book Condition: Used good with some stains on the covers and edges of the book.

A short work of local history and remembrance centred on Barrington Passage, Nova Scotia, and Dr. Ben Hichens, a respected local figure of the early 20th century. Its full subtitle describes the book as memories of Barrington Passage and one of its most beloved citizens.

The title suggests a return to one's family roots and childhood home. The book's emphasis on memories makes it relevant to readers interested in how family stories preserve connections between generations.

Dr. Ben Hichens is the central figure identified in the subtitle. The book commemorates his place in the community and provides a local perspective on the life of a well-regarded individual in the early 1900s. The available catalogue and sales descriptions, however, do not provide enough detail to establish his complete biography or specific medical achievements.
