For sale is an antique Arts and Crafts style umbrella stand with drip pan (constructed from solid OAK wood). This umbrella stand exemplifies the Arts and Crafts movement that flourished in North America from approximately 1900 to 1920. Characterized by simple, functional design and quality craftsmanship, these pieces were often made by notable manufacturers like Stickley Brothers, Lakeside Crafts Shop, and other regional workshops in the Midwest. The movement emphasized honest construction, visible joinery, and the natural beauty of quarter-sawn oak, rejecting the ornate Victorian styles that preceded it.

Arts and Crafts umbrella stands are highly valued by collectors of North American decorative arts and Mission-style furniture enthusiasts. These pieces appeal to those who appreciate early 20th-century design philosophy that prioritized function and craftsmanship over mass production. The combination of solid oak construction, original finish, and period hardware makes these stands desirable for both practical use and as decorative statements in homes furnished with period or complementary styles.

Approximate measurements: 32”H X 11”W X 11”D. Drip pan is NOT original to the piece but serves the purpose (to collect water dripping from the umbrellas). Presented in very good overall condition (with minor wear consistent with age and use). A handsome and functional piece for the entrance to any home.

Offered for sale at $145 (or best offer).
