We Are Looking for an Experienced Heavy-Duty Truck Mechanic to Join Our Team!
RNG Transports Inc. is looking for a skilled, dependable, and experienced Semi-Truck Mechanic to join our maintenance team. We are seeking someone with strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and all types of semi-truck repairs.
Position Details
Job Title: Semi-Truck Mechanic / Heavy-Duty Mechanic
Company: RNG Transports Inc.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift: Night Shift
Work Schedule: Weekends, including weekend availability
Work Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba
Job Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance on semi-trucks and trailers.
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues.
Perform all types of semi-truck repairs and maintenance.
Inspect engines, brakes, transmissions, suspension, and other truck components.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
Ensure trucks are safe and roadworthy.
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
Follow workplace safety procedures and maintenance standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
Previous experience as a Semi-Truck Mechanic or Heavy-Duty Mechanic is required.
Strong hands-on experience with preventive maintenance.
Knowledge of all types of semi-truck repairs.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems independently.
Reliable, hardworking, responsible and able to work night shifts and weekends.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualification – An Asset
Valid Class 1 Commercial Driver's Licence preferred.
Experience working on different makes and models of semi-trucks and trailers.
Heavy-Duty Mechanic certification or relevant technical training is an asset.
