Rutter: two active single-cell Ontario mining claims, 1040007 and 1043502, 44.73 ha in total, in Bigwood Township. Due dates 2028-04-16 and 2028-04-20 (MLAS).

Location and access: about 60 km south of Sudbury, roughly 1.5 km west of Highway 69, near Alban.

Geology and history: the claims cover the north part of the Rutter nepheline syenite body (MDI41I02SE00005). It is a Mesoproterozoic body about 8 km long (north–south), and nepheline syenite is an industrial mineral used in glass and ceramics. The historical deposit, sample site and lease are on neighbouring ground, not on these two cells. Steep Rock drilled holes in 1982 and 1985 on a former claim that plots within cell 41I02G332 (claim 1040007). The core was logged visually as nepheline syenite, good to fair near surface with poorer, more mafic sections at depth. No assays or nepheline analyses were filed, and none are recorded from these two cells. All work is historical (not NI 43-101, not current).

Excluded ground: patented parcels within parts of the two cells (surface and mining rights held by others) are not included. Surface rights are not included.

Price and terms: $125,000 CAD for both claims. Requests are handled first come, first served. A $2,000 non-refundable deposit is invoiced and due within 24 hours, then the balance goes by wire within 5 business days, followed by the MLAS transfer. The buyer pays any transfer fees. All sales are final once started.

Year 1 is free. After that, assessment work is 2 cells × $400 = $800 a year (verify on MLAS). You need a valid Ontario Prospector's Licence to hold a mining claim. Mining claims only, not land.
