Offered is a very hard to find PEETZ 5 5/8" Diameter Fishing Reel. This one is the RECORDER VERSION which has a small round window that displays the amount of line that is out from zero to 600 feet. Condition is very good, the reel turns freely, the drag and clicker work as they should. The mahogany wood has some nice patina with a few small nicks and marks. Varnish finish is original. There is a hairline crack at 90 degrees to the main brass back plate that has been repaired. The PEETZ decal sticker is excellent.
This version with a working line counter is very hard to find in working condition. This is a great opportunity to add this neat old reel to your collection or 'JUST GO FISHING' with it.
It is located in west Edmonton near 169 St and 79a Ave.
