POSITION PURPOSE SUMMARY:
The INNISFAIL Thrift Store Clerk is responsible for providing service to customers, sorting of incoming products, and assisting the manager in the maintenance of store operations. Use this link to apply:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist with the processing of incoming goods
• Provide courteous and efficient service to customers
• Completing customer transactions involving cash and debit purchases
• Answering incoming phone calls
• Assist with general cleaning and tidying of the store
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work with a variety of people
• Ability to work within the mandate and Mission Statement of The Salvation Army

Education/Certifications:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Standard First Aid and/or WMHIS an asset but not required.
Experience:
• Retail experience an asset
Required Skills/Capabilities:
• Completion of High school an asset
• Capable of frequent twisting, bending, crouching and reaching is required
• Ability to lift/move up to 30 pounds or up to 50 pounds with assistance
• Good interpersonal/communication skills
• Must be able to work with a variety of people
• Ability to work within the mandate and Mission Statement of The Salvation Army
• Provide a clear Police background check dated within the last 30 days

Successful candidates, prior to hiring, may be required to provide:
• Background check consent
• A clear Criminal Record Check

DAYS and HOURS of work:
Part Time Position – approximately 24 hours per week, with the possibility to pick up additional hours. Must be able to work some Saturdays. Shifts to be determined by manager. Resumes may also be dropped off our at Thrift Store at 4912-52 Street, Innisfail.
