Flag Outlet is hiring a reliable, hands-on shop worker for our Coquitlam team. This is a full-time position with long-term potential and room for growth.

We are one of only two flagpole manufacturers in Canada and have been in business since 1982. Our work supports a wide range of clients, including Canadian embassies, the City of Victoria, Vancouver Police, RCMP, the Canadian Forces, and major contractors. This is a shop role where you will work on a wide variety of jobs, do something different from day to day, and have the chance to build new skills over time.

Requirements:

Experience with at least 1 to 2 of the following: drilling, machining, blade work/cutting, welding, or metal fabrication
Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on shop work
Must have a driver’s licence and a vehicle or access to reliable transportation
Please make sure you can commute to our Coquitlam location reliably before applying
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team

What you’ll do:

Assist with fabrication, assembly, and finishing
Use shop tools and equipment for drilling, cutting, and related tasks
Package and prepare flagpoles and orders for shipping
Organize materials, label orders, and help keep the shop clean and efficient

Assets:

Welding or metalworking experience
Lathe, machining, or fabrication experience
Shipping, packaging, or warehouse experience
