Position Title: FLOOR COVERING INSTALLER

We are looking for 01 experienced Floor Covering Installer (NOC TEER 73113).

Job Duties:
• Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
• Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding
• Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
• Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings
• Prepare and install hardwood floors
• Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
• Conduct moisture, pH, temperature and other tests prior to flooring installations
• Estimate costs and materials
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
• Prepare floors for installations
• Load and carefully manage all materials
• Installation specializations: tiles, wood, laminate

Education: Completion of a general high school

Work Experience: Minimum 3 years in construction-related or wood-related industries, in which at least 2 years of direct work experience as a Floor Covering Installer in Canada.

Terms of Employment: Permanent Full-time
Start date: As soon as possible
Language of work: English
Wage: $37.00/hour

Hours: 6-8 hours/day, 30-40 hours/week
Location of work: Langford and Greater Victoria BC. No remote work available.
Other requirements: Must be able to work in Canada legally
