We're looking to fi ll in n four fulltime and permanent positions for a Rubber Tire Harvester Operator. Starting date as soon as possible.
You have to operate a rubber-tired single grip Harvester to harvest and process logs with several years of experience as well as work experience in steep slope and cable winches if needed.
We expect you to have the following skills, education and work experience:
- mechanical skills required
- knowledge of tree harvesting regulations required
- 3 years of work experience in single gripping required
- 3 years of work experience in selective cut required
- experience in steep slope
- experience in cable winch would be an asset
- specialized in commercial thinning
- ability to assess site and terrain and run heavy equipment on steep slope
- do minor repairs and maintenance of their logging equipment
- forwarder skills would be an asset
- education: high school required
- ENGLISH required
- wages and work hours: 40-50 hours per week at $40.00/hour
