Schedule: Monday–Saturday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Position

Upstaff Employment Services Inc. is hiring a Contract Service Agent for a transportation depot in Kenora, ON.

This is a great opportunity for someone with customer service, retail, administrative, transportation, or logistics experience who enjoys helping customers and working independently in a community-based role.

Responsibilities

✅ Sell bus and train tickets using computerized systems
✅ Assist customers with schedules, fares, and travel information
✅ Handle cash, debit, and credit card transactions
✅ Perform daily cash reconciliation
✅ Receive, store, scan, and release parcels and baggage
✅ Prepare shipping documents and maintain records
✅ Respond to customer inquiries in person, phone, and email
✅ Maintain a clean and safe customer service area
✅ Complete daily depot opening/closing procedures
✅ Lift and handle parcels up to 75 lbs

Requirements

✔ Customer service experience preferred
✔ Cash handling or POS experience is an asset
✔ Basic computer skills (Windows-based systems)
✔ Strong English communication skills
✔ Reliable and punctual
✔ Ability to work independently
✔ Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
✔ Must live within commuting distance of Kenora, ON
