Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Greenhouse Workers to join our team for the seasonal production period from January to September.

The successful candidates will assist with the planting, cultivation, maintenance, harvesting, sorting, and preparation of greenhouse plants and crops. Training will be provided to successful applicants.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare soil, growing media, beds, trays, and containers for planting.
- Plant seeds, cuttings, seedlings, and other plant material.
- Transplant seedlings and rooted cuttings.
- Water plants and assist with greenhouse irrigation systems.
- Monitor plants for healthy growth and identify weeds, insects, diseases, and other crop problems.
- Cultivate, prune, transplant, and maintain plants as required.
- Apply fertilizers and other crop treatments as directed.
- Harvest, sort, clean, grade, and prepare plants and crops for sale or shipment.
- Move plants, trays, soil, growing materials, and other supplies within the greenhouse.
- Load, unload, and organize greenhouse materials and supplies.
- Clean and maintain greenhouse work areas, benches, tools, and equipment.
- Assist with receiving and storing greenhouse supplies.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
- Perform other general greenhouse duties as required.

Employment Requirements
- No formal education is required; completion of secondary school may be required.
- Previous greenhouse, nursery, farm, or horticultural experience is an asset but not required.
- On-the-job training will be provided.
- Horticulture or related education is an asset.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, and repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift and move plants, trays, soil, and other materials.
- Ability to work in warm, humid, wet, and variable greenhouse conditions.
- Ability to follow instructions and workplace safety procedures.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Schedule and Conditions
- Seasonal employment from January to September.
- Approximately 40–50 hours per week, depending on production requirements.
- Work schedule may include weekdays, weekends, and additional hours during peak production periods.
- Work is performed primarily in a greenhouse environment.
- The position involves physical work and repetitive tasks.

Compensation
$18.25 per hour
