Casually looking to find the best suited home for my 21 year old registered qh mare. “Lucky” I’ve owned since she was 15 years old she’s been a horse who’s taught me a lot. Lucky lives by her name! She is in wonderful shape for her age we often get compliments! She has a ton of life left she doesn’t seem like she’s slowing down anytime soon! She is sound and no maintenance other than her grain supplements and of course 6-8 week farrier and teeth yearly. Lucky doesn’t wear shoes. She’s a very easy keeper. Lucky stands 15’1 she has done plenty years of barrel racing and poles in her younger years and did very well averaging top 2D at local shows she is the hop on and go type. Lucky hasn’t done barrels in 4 years and it was my decision to pull her out she has never had any type of injury I just wanted a different lifestyle for her. I would not sell her to someone who wants to do barrels I am very specific where I want her to go. I turned lucky into a very good trusting sturdy trail horse she has extensive miles on the trails on and off property on the roads on major highways she is safe she is a forward ride but not dirty. Lucky is the type of horse once you get her trust she’s very in your pocket. Lucky is VERY low pecking order she thrives living with mares when she’s with geldings she can tend to get attached. Lucky rides in a hackmore and always has even for barrels it’s what she’s used to and prefers so I never tried to change that. I am looking for a trail riding type home for her absolutely NO lesson barns she is not a lesson horse she would thrive with someone who is a intermediate to experienced rider. No beginners as stated she’s forward and can be hot. Lucky loves to trail ride alone or with others she can lead or follow she is easy to catch easy to tack. With having a new born and a younger horse I do not have the time she deserves and she’s sitting way more than I’d like. Asking $4000
