We’re looking for a driven Sales Associate who lives and breathes hardwood flooring and is ready to be the face of quality for our brand.

The Role
As a Hardwood Flooring Sales Associate, you’ll work in our Headingley showroom and in the field, delivering expert consultations and helping clients choose the right flooring solutions. You’ll use your industry knowledge and consultative selling skills to build relationships and close deals with homeowners, builders, and designers.

Key Responsibilities
• Serve as a primary point of contact in our showroom and during site visits
• Provide expert guidance on wood species, finishes, stains, installation methods, trends, and product selection
• Generate and convert leads through consultations, site visits, and ongoing follow-up with clients, builders, and design professionals
• Drive sales of hardwood, engineered hardwood, vinyl plank, vinyl tile, cork, and related products and services
• Collaborate with the installation and refinishing teams for smooth project handoffs
• Help create a positive customer experience and support showroom presentation
• Turn one-time consultations into long-term loyal customers

What You Bring
• Extensive knowledge of the hardwood flooring industry (species, finishes, installation basics, common issues, and current trends)
• Proven sales experience, preferably in flooring, hardwood, or a related consultative/home improvement field
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills with both residential clients and trade professionals
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven
• Ability to work independently and as part of a tight-knit team
• Valid driver’s license and ability to conduct site visits
• NWFA certification, or equivalent industry credentials are a strong asset (or willingness to pursue)

• Competitive base pay starting at $20–$25/hour (commensurate with experience)
