Hello:

I am currently a college student, enrolled in the Personal Support Worker program at Sundance College located in Capilano. I am searching for a LIVE-IN Home Support Worker position, for preferably a senior woman, or an elderly couple who are in need of a person to help them with their health care and home support needs in their home.

I am a single woman in her very late 50's, with no dependants and my current living situation with my male roommate has become unstable as well as intolerable due to his verbal/emotional/mental abuse, on account of him being very angry and bitter that he cannot go back to work, and is still currently awaiting confirmation of receiving his AISH. His personal attacks on me despite everything I have done for him and even where I am originally from have me feeling rather unhappy with his unacceptable behaviour.

I wish to help someone or an older couple in need who will be happy to have some assistance with their personal needs around the house. As someone who loves animals and has lived with 3 cats and has taken care of their feeding and grooming needs, this is something else I can assist you with!

I am attending college right now, but in a couple of months my work practicum will start, and I found out from my college instructor that a live-in position would serve as 'work experience'.

The pictures shown of Sorrentino's CANADIAN Textbook for the Support Worker and Integrating a Palliative Approach are the textbooks that I am and have been learning here at Sundance College. The pictures I have taken capture shots of are all of the college courses thus far as well.
